Theme song

I think Fleetwood Mac's Landslide is my theme song -

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the season's of my life

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
and I'm getting older too

What would your theme song be?

As an added bonus here's some pictures of changes - ok, really I'm just playing with my camera :)

Gunner and Diesel - 2 months ago

Gunner and Diesel - today

Elephant ears - last summer, along with some tomatoes that did nothing

Elephant ears - today. All the rain has given me monster plants!

Your post would be better with some now and later Tummy pics. :-) Or Bre pics. I don't know if we've seen her as a little tot.

I'm glad you are weathering the job storm. *hugs*

Bre was little before digital cameras - I'll have to see if I can take a pic of a pic. :)

I hate being unemployed but boy am I getting a bunch of things done I'd wanted to get done but didn't have time for!

*hugs back

Lucky you, you don't have a job. Oh, wait, I don't either, unless you count me driving Miss Caitlin everywhere she needs to go.

Oh, well, that, plus sleep apnea keeps me from doing all the things I want to do.

My theme song is "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

(Hugs)

Gunner and elephant ears both grew! We have a plant similar to elephant ears. We cut it way back to next-to-nothing and soon it's too big again. But they're pretty.

I'm not sure about a theme song. My daughter chose the Beatles' "In My Life" for her father-daughter dance at the wedding.

Are there songs about lack of motivation? That would be my theme song. :-)

Kim - Wildwood Weed?

I don't know that song, but it sounds like a song about pot smoking. I suppose that would work, as I do get the munchies a lot.

That has to be my favourite Fleetwood Mac song. I was okay with the Dixie Chicks' redo, but they don't come close to Stevie.

I don't have a song :(

My theme song, which is also Tom's & my theme song has long been Call Me, by Blondie:

Cover me with kisses, baby,
Cover me with love.
Roll me in designer sheets
I'll never get enough
Emotions come - I don't know why!
Cover up love's alibi!
Call me on the line,
Call me, call me, any anytime.
Call me oh my love,
When you're ready we can share the wine
Call me.

Darn. Now I feel all lonely!

I had to think about this a bit. I think I have had several theme songs throughout my life, and it's funny because I feel like I'm always trying to figure certain things out. At the moment OAR's Shattered sums me up:

In a way, I need a change
From this burnout scene
Another time, another town
Another everything
But it's always back to you

Stumble out, in the night
From the pouring rain
Made the block, sat and thought
There's more I need
It's always back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

I had no idea that the night
Would take so damn long
Took it out, on the street
While the rain still falls
Push me back to you

But I'm good without ya
Yeah, I'm good without you
Yeah, yeah, yeah

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
Give me a break let me make my own pattern
All that it takes is some time but I'm shattered
I always turn the car around

Give it up, give it up, baby
Give it up, give it up, now
Now

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around
All that I feel is the realness I'm faking
Taking my time but it's time that I'm wasting
Always turn the car around

How many times can I break till I shatter?
Over the line can't define what I'm after
I always turn the car around

Don't wanna turn that car around
I gotta turn this thing around

MC: I hated the Dixie Chicks redo. I grew to tolerate it, but it most definitely wasn't Stevie.

I love OAR and particularly that song. Good choice.
